SPEAKERS

Jamie De Souza – Partner, Trowers & Hamlins LLP

Jamie is a Partner in Trowers & Hamlins' Dispute Resolution and Litigation department specialising in high value corporate and commercial disputes and fraud investigations.  His practice includes advising clients in relation to high value and complex shareholder disputes with considerable recent experience in unfair prejudice claims, contractual disputes, warranty disputes as well as fraud claims and investigations.  In addition, Jamie is a Director of the Midlands Fraud Forum Limited, a not for profit organisation which aims to promote awareness of fraud issues, promote best practice in countering fraud, and educate on effective fraud prevention measures.

Legal 500 have recognised Jamie as a Next Generation Partner and as having "…the winning combination of being an excellent technical lawyer with great people skills in dealing with opponents" (2022).

James Bolle – The Culture Builder

James has worked in market research and customer experience for 20 years, using data to help companies understand how people behave and why.  Over years of talking to brands like Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sony and VW, James came to understand how great brands achieve outstanding performance: it's because they have built superior cultures.

James started his business in 2019 to take his learnings to business owners around the UK.  He now helps business owners drive superior team performance by building effective cultures.  James has a statistics degree from Warwick University and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.

Liz Mulley – Managing Associate, Trowers & Hamlins LLP

Liz is a Managing Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' Dispute Resolution and Litigation team specialising in commercial and civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution including mediation. In particular, Liz has extensive experience in dealing with civil fraud and cyber response disputes and investigations.  Her work is often complex and sensitive in nature emanating from her cases involving fraud and dishonesty. 

Liz also specialises in advising clients on fraud and cyber risk management, in particular, preparing financial crime policies and providing board and staff training to clients in these areas.  She also regularly speaks at conferences and on webinars on the subject of fraud and cyber risk management.

Liz is ranked as an Associate to Watch in Chambers and Legal 500 has recognised her as being "outstanding" (2022).
