    The Public Sector Fraud Authority (PFSA) published this plan containing the key activities and outcomes it expects to deliver by March 2023. The PSFA was launched on 3 August 2022 with a budget of £11.3 million and a broad remit to work with departments and public bodies to better understand and reduce the impact of fraud against the public sector. The initial focus is on designing and building the new services and functions. Some of the key targets are to roll out guidance on Initial Fraud Impact Assessments (IFIAs) and quarterly reviews of completed IFIAs, have a professional standard for fraud prevention for use in the public sector, agree objectives for tackling public sector fraud in the new Economic Crime Plan and completion of a design for an Enforcement Unit.
